Sd Stampi, the historical company from Carpi, leader in Italy for polyurethane molds, has been creating molds for years making realization of a very wide range of accessories: only in the dental industry, for example, it means creating armrests, backs, seats, headrests, stools.
BUT HOW DOES SD CREATE A MOLD ?
Everything starts from a 3D file that represents the shape and skeleton of our mold. The file must be specially recreated. In some cases it starts from an already existing physical form.
From the available file our experts perfectly draw the iron parts, reproduce the model with scrupulous workmanship, adding if necessary some details by hand for functional needs.
One of the subsequent phases is then the textured painting.
Then begins the meticulous work with the resin, red resin, gray resin, through a series of long and careful steps that end with the casting of the resin. A mold by SD has to be worked long in several parts.
What distinguishes a SD mold from the others?
The presence of some additional “accessories” that denote the absolute perfection of the mold capable of creating the necessary accessory in the best possible way.
